Toronto International Film Festival

Our partner, Arts Alliance Media, supported Toronto International Film Festival with Lifeguard and Screenwriter Solutions.

Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and services, are proud to have supported the celebrated Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the world’s largest public film festival, after enabling Lifeguard (powered by CIELO) and Screenwriter to monitor and optimise hardware, consumables, and screenings.

A TRUSTED SOFTWARE PROVIDER.

After delivering more than 300 films across an eleven-day period, this month, TIFF offered a global audience the chance to enjoy screenings, lectures, workshops, and meeting opportunities with filmmakers, to present the best of international and Canadian cinema.

To guarantee smooth and error-free operations, TIFF selected Lifeguard, a centralised hardware management system powered by CIELO, to monitor all network-wide devices and prevent potential faults ahead of time. Screenwriter, meanwhile, monitored all the festival’s screens from one central point to ensure comprehensive content control and screen visibility.

“To have supported TIFF as their trusted software provider for this landmark event symbolises both the power of our solutions and confidence we instil in our partners,” explained Peter Kim, VP of Sales for the Americas & Korea at AAM.

EQUIPPED FOR MANAGING HIGH-PROFILE EVENTS.

Lifeguard presents exhibitors and festival organisers with their own NOC solution, helping to identify issues early by measuring hardware performance, enable detailed visibility through meticulous device monitoring, and gain additional intelligence from over 30 operational reports.

While Screenwriter, a solution responsible for scheduling features, trailers and advertisements, monitoring screens, and controlling playback for over 42,000 screens worldwide, enables organisations to centralise their daily workload, allowing site-level staff to focus on audience facing positions.

Peter Kim added “Lifeguard allows film festivals to actively work to prevent show-stopping issues and reduce lost revenue, while Screenwriter has proven success in managing high-profile events.”
